Stress Simulation of the Nozzle for the ROCKLAB II
Today we show you a stress simulation made on the RockLab II nozzle.
Click on the image to see the load during the charge.
We are learning to use the software and this is just a test in order to understand how the interface works, how to make the pre-process and the post-process.
The nozzle geometry is calculated by the method of characteristics. The structure is under the pressure field inside the nozzle and the inertial forces due to acceleration.
The software we are using to solve it is COMPACK, developed by CIMNE:
